Once the Pre-Registration form is complete and approved, parents will receive an email from PowerSchool to create a Parent Portal account to complete registration for their new incoming student.
Incoming kindergarten students should be age five (5) on or before August 1, 2022, according to school board policy. All kindergarten students should register as a new student. If a parent needs Internet access or assistance with technology to complete the online registration, please contact your local elementary school. Pre-Screening appointments will be scheduled by email or phone call once WCS receives contact information.
The first day of school is Monday, August 15, 2022. Warsaw Community Schools looks forward to meeting the Class of 2035!

REMINDER: Kindergarten Round-Up will launch on Monday, March 28th, 2022.
Incoming kindergarteners must be age 5 by August 1st, 2022. No exceptions.
On March 28th, information will be released during a presentation at the Performing Arts Center (PAC), 1 Tiger Lane, Warsaw, IN 46580 from 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm. (Doors open at 5:30 PM)
This presentation will also be offered in Spanish.

Read United is back in person this spring. United Way needs volunteers to join us in filling more than 75 classrooms with a caring adult. Volunteers commit to reading to a classroom of children, grades K-2, for four weeks beginning the week of April 11th. United Way provides the books and prompt cards. Join us as we reconnect with children, letting them know that their community believes in them. #wcsmission #togetherwearewarsaw

Author visit with Dani R-G to share her book, Please. The students have focused on using the word "please" and manners! We enjoyed hearing the book, reflecting on the message of the book, and learning about the writing process!
WCS is excited to announce a grant from the Warsaw Walmart through Walmart Giving! Funds will enable the purchase of guided reading books for 4th-6th grade students. Thank you Walmart for your support!

Wednesday - March 2, 2022...we will celebrate National Read Across America Day and Dr. Seuss's Birthday! Students can wear silly socks to school on Wednesday as we celebrate reading! Encourage your child to bring their favorite book to read at school as we celebrate literacy!
All Warsaw Community Schools will be on a 2-hour delay for Friday (2-25) due to freezing rain / slick roads. Please take extra time and safety in morning travel.
