1st Grade students had a trip to a dairy farm! They saw the milking parlor, learned how cows are milked, visited the freestall barn, fed cows hay, and even fed a baby calf a bottle. They also learned about dairy products and enjoyed some ice cream! #WarsawInspires

Our 4th graders were able to take a trip to the Wildwood Nature Preserve. They learned about identifying trees, telling the age of trees, and did some birdwatching; all while enjoying a little hike! They also enjoyed a special viewing of a beaver dam! #WarsawInspires

This week 6th Grade went to the Lilly Center! They played a game demonstrating how things like silt, fertilizer, and pollution end up in our lakes and streams. They were also able to hike on the nature trails and visit the wetlands to search for signs of life! #WarsawInspires

3rd grade recently took a field trip to the Beyer Farm Trail. They learned all about what makes wetlands so important, types of soil in our county, and identified different animal tracks and scat. Thank you K County Soil and Water Conservation Dept for a fun day! #WarsawInspires
