Warsaw, IN - Warsaw Community Schools has selected Mr. Josh Wall as the principal of Jefferson Elementary, awaiting school board approval Wednesday, July 14. Josh Wall earned a Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Saint Francis in 2011. He then joined the US Army Reserve in 2011, and started his teaching career as a 2nd grade teacher at Washington Elementary. In 2016, Mr. Wall deployed to the Horn of Africa as a Psychological Operations Sergeant. With the support of a scholarship from Warsaw Community Schools Board of School Trustees, Mr. Wall earned his Master's Degree in Educational Administration from Indiana University, and became an Instructional Coach in 2018.
Welcoming Josh Wall as the next principal of Jefferson Elementary, Dr. David Hoffer, Superintendent of WCS, stated “We are so excited to welcome Mr. Wall to our elementary administrative team. His background of STEM expertise, elementary curriculum and leadership experiences in the military provide a great background. His prior background at Jefferson Elementary Schools provides a seamless transition as their new principal.” Assistant Superintendent of Elementary Education, David Robertson added “We are excited to watch Mr. Wall continue the legacy of servant leadership at Jefferson Elementary School as principal. Josh brings a wealth of knowledge in expertise specifically in STEM Education. We are blessed to have him on the team at Jefferson!”
Mr. Wall’s wife, Mrs. Gabriella Wall, is excited about his new position, as she herself is a former Jefferson Spartan. They have two wonderful daughters, Hannah, 2 years old, and Abigail, who is 4 months.
