The Warsaw Community Schools Athletic Department is thrilled to kick off the 2023-24 school year with an exciting lineup of cheerblock themes and a dynamic student leadership team. These initiatives are aimed at fostering school spirit, enhancing student involvement and supporting the diverse array of extra and co-curricular activities at Warsaw Community High School (WCHS).
The cheerblock themes for varsity football contests were carefully selected by the student leaders to ignite enthusiasm and unity among students. Each theme is designed to create an engaging and vibrant atmosphere in the stands, amplifying the energy and camaraderie that Tiger fans are known for. The themes for the upcoming games are as follows:
August 25 (Fri) 7:30 PM at Chesterton High School: Jersey Night/Seniors wear official shirts
September 1 (Fri) 7:00 PM at Plymouth High School: Down on the Farm
September 8 (Fri) 7:00 PM vs Concord High School: Hawaiian
September 15 (Fri) 7:00 PM vs Northwood High School: Neon
September 22 (Fri) 7:00 PM at Mishawaka High School: Camouflage
September 29 (Fri) 7:00 PM vs Wawasee High School: Homecoming/Tiger Pride (Wear Black; Seniors wear Orange)
October 6 (Fri) 7:00 PM at Goshen High School: Pajama Night
October 13 (Fri) 7:00 PM vs Northridge High School: PINK OUT
October 27 (Fri) 7:00 PM at IHSAA Sectional: Halloween Costumes (No weapons or full head covering; face must be visible)
The student leadership team will also play a pivotal role in organizing spirited activities, planning theme nights, coordinating with the band and cheerleaders, and enhancing communication among students for other sports teams as well.
