Legrand AV / Da-Lite Brand – Better Communities Committee partners with Jefferson throughout the year to make life better in tangible ways for all students. In December 2024 at the onset of Christmas Break, Better Communities assisted Spartan Outfitters* by providing winter coats and accessories via an Amazon Wish List. This $1,500 donation allowed our freshly stocked trailer to head to the Fairlane Community Center, where items were distributed to appreciative Jefferson recipients. WL Grace Church also provided donated items for this event.
“We look forward to opportunities to support Jefferson Elementary School programs that support the students' education and physical needs. Seeing the smiles on the faces of the students that benefit from these programs is a great reward for our team,” said Mark Sproles on behalf of the Better Communities Committee.
*Spartan Outfitters: "Where needs are met with Love." Spartan Outfitters gives dignity to students who may need a little extra assistance with clothing and hygiene items by providing these basic necessities that have been donated through the generosity of community partners and interested individuals.
