WCS is excited and privileged to be recognized as a 2020-21 PLTW Distinguished District. The PLTW Distinguished District recognition is a one-year designation that emphasizes PreK-12 student engagement. To receive the designation, a district must have had 20 percent or more of the students in each grade, PreK-12, participate in a PLTW program during the previous school year.
WCS is one of only 17 PLTW Districts across the country to receive recognition this year. WCS recently applied for the 21-22 distinguished district application for this current school year and should know by early summer if selected again for this honor. Warsaw Community schools would like to thank all involved in organizing, delivering, and supporting PLTW opportunities that empower students to thrive in an evolving world and achieve exemplary results from the PLTW programs across the district.
