- Video Tribute: Tiger Tuesday: Lakeview Middle School
In his thirteenth year at Lakeview, Principal Todd Braddock offers words of appreciation today for students, staff, and the community.
Every day, to set a positive tone, the Lakeview Family begins their day with, “Today is a good day to have a great day!”
Principal Braddock explained, “Great things are happening at Lakeview. Students have done an amazing job and come to school with a respectful, positive attitude - they do the right thing! I am proud to be their principal.”
Principal Braddock is grateful for all who contribute to making Lakeview outstanding: custodians, food service, maintenance, counselors, coaches, transportation, nurses, subs, paraprofessionals, leadership, office team, and teachers. He goes on to elaborate, “The teaching staff is phenomenal. The theme for 2021-2022 is “TEAM LAKEVIEW!” We have grown the leadership team to 16 teachers who are committed to putting students first and to school improvement by looking at instruction and curriculum, student behavior, and focusing on making healthy choices. The team provides amazing professional development at staff meetings and has gone above and beyond to make Lakeview the best it can be!”
A highlight this past school year is the unprecedented involvement from parents - specifically through PTO. Principal Braddock is thankful for the meals provided at staff meetings. He added, “It has been a great source of encouragement to know our parents are here for us and understand all that teachers do for students.”
There are lots of activities at Lakeview - sports & extra-curricular opportunities for everyone! Principal Braddock would like to give a shout-out to Michele White, Assistant Principal & Athletic Director, and to Emily Day, School Counselor. He is also appreciative of the great relationship Lakeview has with Edgewood Middle School and its Athletic, Leadership, and teaching staff. In closing, Principal Braddock added, “I wish everyone a restful and joyful Christmas Break. I’m excited to spend time with my family and then return in January refreshed and ready for another amazing semester. Let’s finish strong. Go Tigers!”
