Yesterday, the 8th grade Intro to Agriculture class spent the day testing their animal knowledge at Fair Oaks Farms. Students got a special tour of the pig facility, where they learned about animal handling, the importance of nutrition, and how to care for piglets. They also learned how to ultrasound animals, how to calculate feed rations, and wrapped up the day learning now to assist a cow giving birth! #ExperienceWCS EdgewoodSTEM

The Warsaw Middle School Bands will present their Spring Concert on Monday, May 13 at 7:00 p.m. in the Lakeview Auditorium. The concert will include favorites such as "The Hunger Games," "Selections from Harry Potter," and "Edelweiss." The combined Edgewood/ Lakeview Bands will be performing as well as the 6th grade band.
The middle school bands are under the direction of Joseph Peloza. Enjoy a night of music and help celebrate the accomplishments of these great student musicians. The concert is free of charge and the public is invited to attend.

Students in 8th grade U.S. History are learning about the Election of 1860. Students have volunteered to read speeches by the four candidates and the whole class will analyze each candidates stance on important political issues due the time period. Today, had a special appearance by the winner of the 1860 election, Mr. Abraham Lincoln. #ExperienceWCS
