Every neighborhood of Warsaw has a story of community spirit waiting to be written. Today, Warsaw Community Schools (WCS) invites every community member to be part of that story through "Together We Feed Them All," an inspiring initiative to fill more than 350 family boxes with nourishing food and hope.
As winter break approaches, this story of community care takes on special meaning. From December 2 to 12, we will join together to ensure no child misses a meal during the extended school break.
"These boxes represent the heart of Warsaw," shares Dr. David Hoffert, WCS Superintendent. "When we say 'Together We Feed Them All,' we're writing a story of a community that refuses to let any child go hungry. Every donation, every packed box, every act of kindness adds another line to this powerful narrative of hope."
Our district-wide initiative aims to provide 350 families with essential food items to bridge the gap during winter break. "This isn't just about filling boxes with food," explains JoElla Hauselman, Principal of Edgewood Middle School. "It's about filling our community with hope. When families receive these boxes, they're receiving a message that says, 'Your community cares, your children matter, and you're not alone this winter break.'"
