Remarkably, all participating students earned a GOLD Division Rating, collectively bringing home 36 GOLD Medals.

Research projects can be daunting at any age, but Mrs. Doyle's first graders took on the challenge. First, they did a full class project on penguins. Then, they tackled researching a different animal in small groups. Last, they wrote their research project and published it!

Miss Flohr's 1st graders were introduced to worms last week. Some students weren't so sure about the worms wriggling around the table, but they certainly learned a lot!

Miss Zamora's 5th graders have been learning about the transfer of energy. This week they studied food webs and designed their own.

Our 3rd graders enjoyed a fun trip to the Shrine Circus last week. My personal favorite quote heard from the day was, "That guy is literally defying the laws of physics!"

While we had amazing weather for recess today, the temperatures for next week are looking pretty frigid. Please make certain your students are dressed appropriately for the weather. We try our best to get outside for recess whenever the weather is safe for us to go out, even if it's just for a little bit. If you are needing help getting your student appropriate items for this weather, please let us know. Thanks for all you do to help keep our Knights safe.
#WarsawInspires

Thank you so much to United Way for the donations of the Winter Warmth bags! The socks, underwear, hats, gloves, and chapstick donations will greatly help the students that utilize the Knight's Closet.

Mrs. Doyle's class was hard at work imagining what would make the perfect donut. The possibilities are endless! If you could design the perfect donut, what would it be?
